medium-high heat and then place the lobster tails directly on the grill
rack.

and when the coals are hot, place the lobster tails on a

Cold
water lobster tails or warm water lobster tails, hard shell lobster
or soft shell lobster.
Yikes, it sounds confusing! But
it
isn't.
Go with either a cold water lobster tail or a
warm water lobster
tail, keeping in mind that the meat of cold water tails is firmer than
that of warm water tails.
Therefore, cold water tails are best to use
in recipes that require that the lobster meat be
removed from the shell. And...
If you buy fresh live Maine
lobster for grilled lobster tails,
use hard shell,
not soft shell.
The meat will be easier to work with.
